VF19 Roster

VF19 has been created in the late 90's by two good friends, Napalm and Jynx. Since those early days, Napalm and Jynx started recruiting people from all over the flying community to join them in the newly formed squad.

At the beginning, pilots of our squad flew in Microsoft's Combat Flight Simulator 1. It was an easy move to do for all when the highly acclaimed version 2 of that flight sim hit the shelves: every one moved to the new game and hours of fearsome multiplayer action took place, almost every day since.

Later, we discovered communication softwares which allowed us to speak in real time while flying, enabling us to implement more efficient combat strategies, thus increasing the overall fun and enjoyment surrounding our hobby.

When Ubisoft's IL2 Sturmovik was released in the early 2000's, we then moved to this flight simulator, and the name and fame of VF19 was transported in the new virtual battlefields made available by this software, still acclaimed today as the best WW2 flight sim ever made.

Some stay, some go but all have fun...

Dozains of people from the North America, Australia, Asia and Europe have been part of our squad. Some are there from the very start, some have come and go. But all of them, without exception, have made what VF19 is all about: a fine bunch of people, wanting to share their passion for combat Flighat Sims, re-enacting dogfighting and bombing runs for pure pleasure, without arming anyone, in the most pleasnt way there is.

This squadron has been active for almost ten years now and we deeply thank everybody who made it possible.
